TOKYO, Feb 9 (Reuter) - Square Co Ltd, a video game software maker, said on Friday it has agreed to develop and market software for Sony Computer Entertainment Inc's home-use 32-bit "PlayStation" video game. Sony Computer Entertainment is 50-50 owned by Sony Corp <6758.T> and Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc <7930.T>. Square will stop developing 16-bit game software for Nintendo Co Ltd's <7974.OS> Super Famicom machines after it starts selling two software titles in February and one each in March, April and May. It will concentrate on developing PlayStation software after that, a Square spokesman said. SCE has sold more than two million PlayStations since launching the game machine in December 1993, a SCE spokesman said on Friday. Square will start selling the seventh version of its mainstay "Final Fantasy" game in December 1996 for PlayStation. In Japan, it has sold 9.12 million units in the "Final Fantasy" series for use in Nintendo's Famicom and Super Famicom, the Square spokesman said. The company plans to launch another game for use in PlayStations next year. 05:11 02-09-96
